this reminds me of the times i’ve flipped through my journal, which is thankfully free of private stuff, but whenever i come across things written anywhere from a few weeks to 6 or 7 year ago, i can’t help but make marginal comments on my naivete. i’ve been trying to limit them to ‘ha!’s just to save some ink and time.

it happens, dost. and it’s both embarrassing and funny even if no one knows about it. then again, our words can be true, so true, for the moment we write/speak/think them, but get shaken up as soon as the moment passes.
