This is me from sometime last year, during my work trip to India. Feels like a decade ago.
This was on my last work day there. They gifted me a book and they all signed it. I did some magic, and this part was captured on video.

i love the somewhat faint city street noises in the background. =)
i love how you so eagerly comment on your own video (:
but also: wow ![]()
and how come you haven’t done these for us?

oh look at that! i forgot to change the name, so that it looked like someone else was commenting on it. silly me.
and how come you haven’t done these for us?
there is much, miss, that i have not yet done.
if you’d proposed to her then, she’d have been too afraid to say no
maybe if she wasn’t thinking about her husband, or her two little children. maybe…
out of principle, i don’t propose to married women…
“there is much, miss, that i have not yet done.”
what are you waiting for?
Magic!? or was it more like a joke that she was laughing so frantically, lol. Waisay.. jaadu is jokes, afterall.
Dude, I want to know how you did that! So awesome!
@maria - i’m pretty sure she wasn’t “laughing” at a joke. =)
jaadu can be jokes, but overall it’s an experience. and everyone experiences it differently.
and although this effect is done in a light mood. the psychology of it is pretty intense (at least i feel it is). in fact, this part is just the middle of a 3 phase routine. and the rest of the routine is even more lighthearted to downplay what just happened here.
the way i see it (and the way she sees it), is that an object travels from my closed fist, to her closed fist. if you think about that for a moment it’s kinda scary. specifically because i keep saying “close your fist tight“. i’d like to think her reaction is a response to that.
@beanay - thanks. how did i do it? through prayer and hope.
That was impressive! MashaAllah. ![]()
